This setup automates inventory control by tracking item usage in real-time and sending automated low-stock notifications to administrators before inventory hits zero.

Implementation Steps

    1. Create consumable resources with Inventory Tracking mode turned on and adding an Initial Stock Quantity (e.g., 5 spools).
    2. Open the Resource and go to Reservation or Requests → Units → Low Inventory Email Threshold and enter the amount you want to be notified when it hits.  This email is sent to Resource Contact(s), which you can customize under the resources’ Profile → General → Contacts.
    3. Under Units, you can also enable a Low Inventory Email Custom Message for the resource contact.
