The Capacity Reports page under Reports allows site administrators to analyze resource utilization efficiency by measuring total booked usage against available operational capacity. Because each resource can have its own specific capacity value assigned by site administrators, this report provides a tailored evaluation of throughput across individual assets, categories, or tags.

Filters

Refine report criteria to isolate specific operational metrics or timeframe windows.

• Hide Filters / Show Filters: Toggle this option in the top right corner to collapse or expand the filtering parameters.
• Download: Export the capacity data directly to a file for external reporting and analysis.
• Date Range (Start / End): Set custom start and end dates to define the reporting period over which capacity utilization is evaluated.
• Resources: Select specific resources to include in the capacity analysis.
• Category: Filter data by specific resource categories.
• Tags: Add custom tag filters to analyze groups of resources that share specific administrative tags.
• Include Auto-Excluded Items:
• • Include Excluded Resources: Check this box to include resources that have been flagged as excluded from general site reports.
  • Include Excluded Users: Check this box to include booking activity generated by accounts marked as excluded from reporting.
• Apply Filters: Updates the capacity charts and table views using your configured criteria.
• Reset Filters: Clears all custom filtering parameters and restores default report settings.

Report Views & Options

Switch between visual analytics and raw data tables to inspect capacity metrics:

• Visualizations (Tab): Displays graphical bar charts illustrating capacity percentages across resources.
• Tables (Tab): Provides a structured tabular view listing numerical capacity and utilization figures.
• Approval Requirement Note: Only approved reservations are included when calculating capacity metrics. Pending or denied requests are automatically excluded to ensure accuracy.
• Show all resources (Toggle): Toggle ON to display all site resources on the report, including those with zero recorded usage during the selected date range. When toggled OFF, only 10 assets with logged activity during the timeframe are displayed.
• Download Chart Icon: Click the download icon located above the chart area to export the rendered visualization directly.

Capacity Visualizations Chart

The Visualizations view renders a horizontal bar chart comparing percentage utilization relative to maximum available capacity:

• Y-Axis (Resource): Lists individual resource names included in the report.
• X-Axis (Utilization %): Measures utilization on a percentage scale (from 0% up to 100%).
• Utilization Bars: Represents the percentage of available capacity actually booked and utilized by approved reservations for each resource during the defined timeframe.
• Capacity Benchmark: A vertical indicator (e.g., at 100%) marks total maximum operational capacity, allowing administrators to easily identify heavily loaded equipment or underutilized facility assets.
