The Location tab under Site Settings allows administrators to configure regional preferences, calendar display behaviors, language support, and localized formatting for numbers, invoices, and currencies across the site.

Regional & Language Settings

Tailor your site's geographic identity and language accessibility for your users.

• Site Location: A free-form text field where you can input your facility’s physical location, city, or campus details.
• Enabled Languages: Toggle which languages are supported on your site.
• • English (en) is permanently enabled by default.
  • Français (Canada) (fr-ca) can be toggled on. Enabling French automatically translates all native QReserve interface elements, buttons, and navigation menus.
  • Important Note on Translations: Text manually entered by site administrators (such as resource names, site descriptions, or booking disclaimers) will always appear in the exact language it was typed. QReserve does not automatically translate user-generated content.
• Default Site Language: Set the baseline language for your portal. If French is enabled, you can choose either English or French as the primary language displayed to users when they first access the site.

Time & Calendar Configurations

Accurate time tracking and calendar presentation ensure scheduling runs smoothly across your entire organization.

• Primary Timezone: This is established when your site is initially created and cannot be changed. The timezone is critical for ensuring that reservation start and end times remain accurate and synchronized for all members. Each site can have only one timezone. Customers who have multiple locations in different timezones will need a site for each timezone.
• First Day of Week on Calendar: Customize the visual layout of calendars sitewide. By default, the system follows the convention of the user's specific web browser. If you prefer a standardized corporate or institutional layout, you can manually lock the grid to start on any specific day of the week.
• Time Picker and Calendar Time Display Mode: Dictate how times are shown across the platform. The default setting adapts dynamically to the user's browser settings, but you can explicitly force a sitewide 12-hour (AM/PM) or 24-hour clock display to match your facility's operational preferences.
• Reservation CSV Upload Date Time Format: For administrators who batch-import bulk schedules, this field dictates the precise formatting the system expects within your spreadsheet. The default required template is YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm:ss.

Financial & Number Localizations

Ensure invoices and resource rates align with your accounting practices and regional standards.

• Address to Show on Invoices: Input the formal billing or mailing address for your facility. This text will print dynamically on all financial invoices generated by the system.
• Primary Currency: Select the default currency used for all resource billing rates and automated invoicing. This acts as your baseline financial setting but can be overridden on a case-by-case basis if required.
• Decimal Separator: Specify your numerical formatting preference for decimals. You can choose either a period (default) or a comma.
• Thousands Separator: Choose how large numbers are broken up visually. Options include a comma (default), a period, or a space.

Formatting Example (Default): With a period decimal separator and a comma thousands separator, currency displays as $123,456.78.
